Our Mission

     St. Stephen's Music Ministry provides music at the  Saturday anticipated Mass ( typically accompanied by guitar) and Sunday Morning Mass( typically accompanied by Piano/Organ). Also, special liturgies such as Funerals, Weddings, and Holydays  are assisted by either individuals or a combination of the various Music Ministry groups available.  Occasionally, Music Ministry will provide outreach at various events within the community including ecumenical services.
     In addition to serving as music ministers of the church, the group seeks to be attentive to each other and build community within Music Ministry and the Parish family by sponsoring various social actitivities including potluck dinners.

Music Ministry Guidelines

• Know you are a minister of the church.

• Communicate reverence and dignity at all times.

• Dress appropriately; neat, modest and in keeping with the dignity of your sacred role.

• Participate fully in all parts of the liturgy at which you are serving; not only by singing, but by praying and listening attentively.

• Do not draw attention to yourself either by your apparel, your posture, your gestures, or unncessary talking.

• Be prepared. Attend rehearsals and warmups prior to each liturgy .
